Our Story
Sweet Almande started as a simple small family business in Colorado. Initially, our first and only product was our classic flavor, cinnamon crunch almonds. Now over 20 years later, we’ve introduced pecans and cashews, and we’ve improved our selection to 30+ flavors and counting. If you have a love for something sweet, salty or spicy, then we’ve got a flavor for you.
All our products are made using a small batch German water based roasting process, with no extra added fats or oils. You can be assured that all Sweet Almande products are made with only the highest grade ingredients to insure the finest quality nut snacks – one batch at a time.
It all started with our original flavor, Cinnamon Crunch. Since then, we’ve developed 31 flavors and counting, from Vanilla to Chocolate, Spicy to Fruit, and several in between. We have a flavor for every palate.
We also offer two mixes, Crazy Mixed-Up Nuts and Harvest Mix.
Our seasonal flavors include Hot Buttered Rum and Egg Nog, which are offered only from October through December every year.
Our goal is simple. Deliver a unique and delicious product, while maintaining a conscious effort towards dietary restrictions. We utilize a 100% water based roasting process that is free of oils and butter in our recipes.

I’ve narrowed it down to three – Blueberry Crumble, it is like a blueberry muffin, only crunchy and better for you; Cinnamon Cappuccino, and I am not particularly fond of coffee, but this flavor is reminiscent of a creamy sweet latte; and Harvest Spice, a subtle mixture of spices, almost like a carrot cake without the carrots.

Wing Nuts is my top favorite, sweet and spicy. It is great with a malted fermented beverage. Lemon Drop is our newest flavor, similar to a sweet tart lemon pie. Sweet Onion Teriyaki, especially in cashews, is also great for stir frys.

My absolute faves are Sweet Onion Teriyaki Cashews, great for any occasion. Vanilla Brown Sugar almonds, the number one best seller for a good reason. Wing Nut Cashews, a sweet/spicy snack for any time. My kids are fond of the traditional original Cinnamon Crunch.
